Get Ready for Spring Vegetable Gardening

The weather is up and down now, but it's not too early to start thinking about indoor seed starting. As a good rule of thumb, count back six weeks from Derby Day to mid-March as a starting point. Peppers, tomatoes and other garden crops can get started safely indoors then.

Cold crops like lettuce can get going right now in containers, but if there's a hard frost, bring them indoors. Try our ready-to-ship seed packets of Gourmet Lettuce Blend to get your garden started. We've got a nice Mixed Herbs ready-to-ship seed packet variety as well.
